CNY AND END OF PROJS!!

All projs and presentations are over!! and Im so glad it ended on a good note. This past 2-3 weeks have been so hectic, I feel like its been years since I last had a good sleep. But it all turned out to be worth it! cause Fiona gave us an A! Mcomm was the module which I was worried about the most, and also because it was the one which I put the most effort in. Shall be thick skin and say Im so proud of my ads. haha. Even my dad said it was good. (He usually has alot to say -.-)

Fuck MRSH though. But since it's a 1% presentation, I shall not let that bother me.

And just like that, everything is over. Okay, there's still exams. But school life has now pretty much ended. and I couldnt help feeling that sense of lost as we were walking to the bustop. For the first time after so long, we didnt have to make up checklists of things to complete that night.

Projs have been crazy. Nothing has gone smoothly for us. We didnt even score well for the first part of our projs which made us so determined this time. All the late nights spent in school, those nights spent doing up work till like 7am in the morning after returning home from cny visiting, the travelling just to get everything! and how even simple things like printing/downloading/emailing can go wrong. and not forgetting, the money :'O

But it has been a whole lot of fun. and of course, I have my group mates to thank. Namely Sm and yy. lol. Those times when we were so frustrated and desperate, we would laugh and cry at the same time. and how we would come up with all sorts of ideas for presentations. I think our image was kinda ruined after this sem, what with all of those budget radio and video ads. But I guess those benefited us greatly. haha. and of course, how we took turns playing mj cause we had to hand in mrsh that night! see how committed we are. and not forgetting yy's stupidity, which we dont know if it is sadder for her or us.

Anyway! Headed for karaoke after mcomm, cause it was early, and I guess we felt refreshed after that A. haha. all fatigue gone! ( I honestly cried when I woke up this morn. and I kept looking and counting again to make sure it was really 6am and if I really had to wake up at 6am.lol.) went to a secret place while waiting for tuling to meet us. Yy says we cant reveal the place. (LOL) and then it was karaoke time!! heehee. I love karaoke~

We screamed more than sing in my opinion. But it's ok, cause no more presentations~ except for tuling who still has to protect her voice for friday. I always thought I sang loud until today. Yy's voice is louder than both of us, even when she's not using the mike.lol. Screamed our lungs out. We even sang faint! haha. and good day! tuling skipped my sixth sense cause yy voice was too annoying :(

Honestly, I dont like cny. cause there's seriously nothing for adults to talk about besides results -.- Everyone keeps talking about the future, and it just makes me wanna hide from it all the more. To hell with Singapore's education seriously. It's so fucked up. (can you imagine how a kid's life could be determined when he's just primary4? Like once you're taking foundation classes, it's as good as a straight route to ITE. fucked up man.)

and also the tattoo incident at my aunt's place just made me feel so adverse towards my mum's side more than ever. If our beliefs dont match, then just shut up.

Just to keep my blog alive.
It's gonna be all ramblings.

Korean bbq and noraebang with cha and marie last week! Karaoke was damn shiok, even though there werent many songs. Wasnt in the mood to sing either cause of the massage chair! Marie was the only who didnt utilise it. lol.

Finally squeezed in some time ytd to go do some shopping. I havent bought my shoes D':

Anyway, to be honest, we just skipped lesson for shopping. lol. Mcomm was too depressing for us to carry on with tutorials, so we decided to take mc and go shop for shoes instead. and I met a cute pharmacist. heehee.

and for the first time yesterday, I bought my own bras. haha. I never knew they allowed trying of bras. But I guess there wasnt really any restrictions there anyway. Tuling saw this woman bringing panties in lah. and yy kept complaining about discrimination towards women with small breasts cause got limited colours. and the cashier gave her a small plastic bag, and gave me and tuling big ones. lolol.

and finally got to eat ah chew's desserts yo! everytime pass by always no seats one loh. wanted to eat my sesame paste but no more ):

These few months has seriously been damn hectic. In fact, I think since school reopened, projects seem to be never ending. and unlike previous years, the level of involvement and commitment is so highhhhhh!! MRSH was the killer. Having to find 125 respondents, which is damn difficult when you have a 7 page survey for them to complete. Plus, the age criteria to meet. I almost went mad. and as if that wasnt enough, we had to key in the data into some stupid spss database which can only work in school. and guess what? it doesnt allow copy and paste. #yousiao

and therefore, I found myself staying in school from 10 am to 8pm. and then rushing back down to yishun cause we forgot to take pics. and going back all the way to school just to submit them. and going back to school again the next morning to interview toilet cleaners and make telephone calls to verify other groups respondents. and Sm even got scolded by one of them. lol. the woman scolded her so loud on the phone, we all shock sia. at least mine was just really unfriendly and complained that my place was really noisy even though it was so quiet -.-. People should understand that being a student is not an easy task.

and what made me more angry was that we were not paid even though we were engaged by a real company. Outside get one respondent can earn $7 already lah. and you give us nothing. at least evergreen gave us $5 each to spend. tsktsk.

AND THEN THERE'S ALSO MCOMM. I swear one day I'll hand in that proposal to Esprit and get it approved. To be honest, I would have liked Fiona heehee if she hadnt rejected our proposal. ( I honestly didnt see anything wrong with it. I even thought it was pretty good lor.) and also if she hadnt mark us absent when we were late. twice. She's the only tutor that does that lah. tsk.

Oh, we were late for bmm tutorial this morning for 1.5 hours! haha. so we only sat in for 20 mins. we were so paiseh to go in, dom had to open the door for us. lol. and kevin chua still gave us attendance :D and we slacked around clementi mall till 3 for sm tutorial, only to find that there wasnt anymore lessons! lol. ended up staying in the classroom to charge our phones. lolol.

Ok, gotta get back to mrsh. 10 chapters! gogogo!

Honestly, cny isnt gonna be much of a break. test test test and report deadline straight after cny break. followed by all the other presentations and then its time for exams. shoot me please.

Anyway..

Cant wait for mahjong!! :) ahhahahaha. its the only thing Im actually looking forward to.

The Last: 2011

It's just one more day to 2012! The year which Im seriously not looking forward to.

Besides the fact that the world's gonna end, Im also gonna be thrown into the adult world. I'll most probably not be going to uni, which only means its time to get out there and work. for real. and I just wish time could stop. Though I seriously hate school, work's gonna be a whole lot tougher. Judging from my experience with office work, Im probably gonna get bullied alot :'O lol. cause Ive never been the ambitious kind of person, and I seriously seriously hate competitive people. they make me so upset, and keep me thinking why on earth are there such people.

Anyway, I dont write new year resolutions, so I cant say I've accomplished anything I've set out to do. But one thing which I've done which makes me really proud of myself (lol), is that I've prayed every single night for the entire year. This may sound like nothing, but I dont think I've ever lasted this long.

OH. AND I GOT MY TATTOO THIS YEAR TOO :D hahaha.
and that was like a childhood dream come true.
and I know there are people out there who say God doesnt approve of tattoos, but I did ask God for approval k. lol. I rmbed saying that if He allows it, then cma tutorial would end early. something which doesnt always happen. and God bless, my parents didnt react too strongly or burn my skin like they had threatened before, when I showed them.

On a side note, sales interview ytd was a success! Been so worried that the whole interview was gonna be so awkward, but the manager was so nice and knowledgeable, he even told us things which we didnt know. haha.

I think I just had one of my best birthdays ever. lol.Family + close friends ♥

Honestly, I didnt want to celebrate as much, cause its supposedly suay to celebrate 19th bday. and also plus the fact that I felt more and more guilty every single time my father swipes his credit card, cause Ive been a damn disappointing daughter for the past few months D':

but its 20112011!!! you dont get that every year sia. and I wont even bother celebrating if the date isnt that special.

and even though we agreed that there'll be no good food cause of the hotel (we always dine at restaurants of our choice whenever its someone's bday), daddy still brought us for ramenplay (best ramen Ive ever eaten in sg so far), manhattan fish market and steamboat! 3 nights straight. I love you daddy (':

Anyway, booked a room over at festive hotel, which came with tics for uss and some lavie show which my parents went. Damn good deal. and so for the whole 3 days we were like tourists at sentosa (: we even visited fort siloso! and I actually passed off as 12 for the child ticket. lolol. But I think the person also dont care lah. haha. The guides there all so cute one sia. But I think that trip was pretty pointless, cause all of us were running through the exhibits cause the wax figures were so creepy and the lights were so dim!

Finally met up with anna and cha! idkw they're always so busy and Im always wondering around with nothing to do. makes me feel so lonely.zzz.

Anyway, went to catch whats your number and we spent 45 mins buying snacks before that. lolol. taiwan chicken, yoghurt, ham, bubble tea, and ruffles! (: Like a picnic sia. And the show was damn nice!! got the aww factor. Plus, chris evans is damn hot lah huh.

Headed down to macs to talk for awhile and continued with cha after anna left, talking about life. lol. I think I was talking alot more though. haha. But it feels so good to catch up after so long. Ive missed you guys (': and what with school, family and friend issues, I really would have gone insane if not for you all. haha. (marie, you included lah huh. lol.)

Recalling so many memories from vietnam right now after tweeting with kendrick! makes me miss the trip so much more ):

- how when we first board the boat at Mekong Delta and we all decided to sit on one side only,and the entire boat slanted to the other side, and our lecturers and guides were laughing at us, and mrs tay was like " we have to sit on both sides you know!"

- those days when we would rush to do manicures, pedicures and buy nail polish during our one hour break before dinner cause the shops close at 7. one day do one, and mad run back to board the bus. forever the last.

- haggling of prices at the shops and threatening with leaving only to get called back by the shopkeepers. (i hardly got called back though. zzz)

- zilianing once we boarded the bus before conking out. how we were suppose to tour the industrial zone and everyone fell asleep, only to find out when the tour guide told us later.

- shouting through our balconies in the middle of the night. "how do you off the lights??" lol.
and how me and yy couldnt find the source of the voice at first and we ran back into the room to hide. lolol.

- epic moment when everyone immediately stops eating and takes out their phones the moment someone proclaims that there is wifi. haha.

- jay chou karaoke sessions in the room. and weekean's singing and rebecca's rapping in bus!
and annoying simin while blasting and shouting kpop songs. haha.

- shouting at yy to hurry up every morning. no matter how early we wake up, always left 15 mins for breakfast.
and how it is impossible for her mouth to shut. lolol.

- how its always just us 4 wandering around. we could shop at the same place and never see anyone else from our group. haha.

- and when we were dining at this seafood restaurant, we sat just beside the fish tanks, and this fish kept looking at our direction cause we were eating its friend. haha.

- how when we were crossing the delta from cambodia to vietnam in the bus and simin woke up and thought we were stuck in a flood.

- Uncapping the bottle of cheese and emptying everything onto our pizzas and spaghetti.

- how we could only buy 2 sticks of meat after digging out all our khmer money and had to beg the person to give us bread too. haha.

- negotiating like a gang when the tuktuk guy refused to fetch us for 5usd but 6usd. haha. we were all seriously talking damn loud sia. everyone protesting when the guy protested. lol.

- filling our plates during networking dinners and stressing on how to eat the chicken wings, prawns and crabs without being unglam. haha. staring at each other over our food and laughing silently.

- giving away our namecards so happily. and the himawari gm just left ours on the table and we complained to mrs tay, and she kept consoling us saying he'll return and collect them.

- how i panicked when i thought i dropped my entire stack of namecards while running in the rain. later get anonymous calls of 'xin chao' everyday.

in the end it was with yy. lol.

- and straightening out my top with my hair straightener! never felt more accomplished. haha.

- playing cai quan after meals to finish everything on the table. eggplants O:
and how once we just mixed in everything with rice and it tasted so good, and everyone wanted to lose. haha.

- how we had to wear our blazers when the weather was so hot, and everyone rushed to the refreshment counter and refused to enter the meeting room. haha.

- how we would shout for raymond whenever we wanna take pics and how justin would spam take us during group pics. there would be so many cameras, dont know where to look at. haha.

- and once when we heard someone knocking on our door and i went to check with sm and there was no one there. freaked out and ran back and squeezed into the single bed with yy and tuling tgt. lol.

- how the 4 of us would bang the windows of keping and brandon's room whenever we were walking past.

- and me, yy and tuling yeoboseyo-ing with the phone whenever we had nothing to do, only to realise that we were charged for it when checking out.

- and channel v playing the exact same playlist every night! from dont know become can sing sia.

- how once there was a ghost show airing and me and yy wanted to watch, but ducked our heads and switch the channel whenever it comes on, then switch back and duck again and switch back and lol.

-and when we were eating at this particular restaurant, and one of our friends got like damn scared of the cat till she cried, and the waitress went to imitate and mock her. and xingjue couldnt take it, and before leaving she flipped the entire rice pot which hit the tea cups and spilled tea like everywhere, even on the floors. and walked away like a boss. the waiters and waitresses all shock sia. heroine. lol.

- our stolen choco pies when we went down the bus while passing customs! The guide told us not to leave any valuables behind and we assumed they wouldnt steal food. and one choco pie was missing when we came back.

and all of us suspected that yy took it. lol.

-and of course meals with everyone else. how the meat dish always gets raped the moment it lands on the table. especially once when there was bbq meat. haha.

and so many more! I'll never list finish them.
its been days and I still find myself thinking back alot. 12 days seemed so fast. it felt like only 3 or 4 days? lol. cause our schedules were always so packed. and its always fun to be around everyone else. (':

Im home! and currently experiencing withdrawal symptoms as marie puts it. I guess I just miss being with everyone else ):
The meals together with the entire group, exploring of streets even when its just us four, kartriding everywhere even during meetings and silently screaming inside, making full use of all the precious wifi that we could find everywhere, bargaining for cheaper prices, crossing the busy roads like a boss, pampering ourselves with cocktails and massages, packeting our breakfast cause we're always late, and forever running back to the hotel to board the bus. and also, just being with the girls (:

How our rooms would always be filled with laughter, screaming, and overlapping songs. and yy would always be modeling infront of the mirror, stripping infront of us and asking us to vote what she should wear the next day. lol.

I always wondered how others of my age could splurge like nobody business, and while shopping one of the days, I suddenly realised that was probably how the people there thought of us too. Esp when visiting a university there, and this guy kept staring at us using our iphones while the lecturer was talking while he doesnt even know how to use one. and all of a sudden, I felt so guilty.

Landed at changi airport and our entire group started clapping and shouting chicken rice and char kway teow. lol. Looking at the overview of singapore from the plane suddenly gave me this sense of pride to be a singaporean (':

IBSM DAY 8 - 10: HOCHIMINH TO DANANG!

Took an hour flight from hochiminh to Danang! one of the most boring places Ive been I think. haha.

Landed and had to head down for meeting immediately after lunch. busy busy busy.

IBSM DAY 3 - 7: CAMBODIA TO VIETNAM!

been camping over at yy and sm's room every night cause our new hotel room's wifi has serious attitude problem. always no connection one sia;. then when dont want use that time then have. tsk.

Anyway, went on a 6hr long bus ride to vietnam from Cambodia. Sit until butt damn pain lah. and the custom is seriously damn slackkk. Cause we wanted to cut the queue so our guide just gave our passports to the officer to stamp all at once and gave them some tips. No bag checks no nothing. lol.

Shall let the pictures do the talking cause Im so dead tired, i cant think.
Been surviving every single day on 3 hrs of sleep only lah, until I seriously look fucking cui. I'll just sleep everywhere and anywhere. and I mean really sleep sia. the unconscious kind. which is pretty rare.

Our last night in Cambodia! and we took out all our khmer money left only to buy 2 pathetic sticks of meat. shared among us five. haha. but its damn nice! (:

IBSM DAY 2: CAMBODIA!

Day 2 at Cambodia! Today was a pretty relaxing day since the business visits have not officially started. cause apparently, the cambodians are celebrating some ghost festival? which is pretty similar to our 7th month, just that theirs is 15 days and they dont have to work. shiok right. how come our 7th month nothing one loh.

As usual we were the last ones to arrive. All our parents last words to us were to dont everytime let everyone wait for us. lolol. Everyone alr eat finish and we just reached the restaurant.

Visited this s21 place? which apparently was a prison during the holocaust days? when cambodia was under pol pot? ok, my facts are not 100% right cause the guide's english was kinda hard to understand. Anyway, they converted the prison to a museum. Leaving all the prisons and stuffs exactly as they were. Even the blood stains could still be seen on the walls, ceilings, and floors. No pics cause I was damn scared lah huh.

The entire place had this really sad feeling to it? The way those people were tortured was seriously fucking inhumane lah. Even babies werent spared cause apparently this pol pot guy has this thinking that ' to remove the grass you have to remove the roots.' So if one person gets caught, the entire family would also be killed. And the way they kill the babies is fucking mental lah. They would slam them against tree trunks and throw them down from buildings. And the mother would be forced to watch it all.wtf.

Prisoners were also not killed immediately. They would be tortured like mad every single day for at least 20 hours until they eventually die. Committing suicide wasnt even possible. Their fingernails were all plucked off with pliers, and there was this woman who's tits got cut off. FUCKING SICK. they would use electricity to burn(?) you, and cigarette butts to poke into your eyes.

k, enough of those sick stuffs. haha. Anyway, there was this building which they left exactly as it was. Didnt want to go in but no choice cause everyone wanted to go. zzz. It was like dark and creepy, and chilly all of a sudden? Especially those at the higher levels. There was even a smell. Ended up waiting outside after all. I was really damn scared k. reminds me of the sg 13 cells thing.

The most ridiculous thing of all is that the chief of this prison is actually still alive and in prison. A cell with aircondition. Can you believe it? and his family receives usd3ooo a month. wtf. The cells those prisoners had to live in were like incorrigible and he has air condition. The prisoners were even forced to clean up their cells by drinking their pee and eating back their faeces. and he fucking has air condition. And one of the other officers died of natural cause. wtf right. After how he tortured those people to death. He died of natural course. wtf sia.

and i think our guide was kinda surprised to see that we recovered from the trip so quickly? Like the moment we reached the bus we were laughing and talking alr. when he mentioned before that he took 2 weeks to recover from the grief. lol.

and we finally went shopping! though there wasnt anything much to buy uhs. shall wait for vietnam.
and we went for massage! Damn shiok after a whole day of walking.

Our bus driver was also damn nice! offered to send us there cause our hotel's located at a pretty ulu place. The guide was saying how our street is quite dangerous with alot of mafias around. and yy, sm, tuling and I were just exploring around ourselves the night before. lol. make us feel so garang. Anyway our driver offered to send us there even though he can go home alr. and then he got worried that we wont be able to return home and offered to come back to fetch us after we finished our massage! Damn nice right!

and our driver and guide were always helping us around with our stuffs. Like buying prepaid cards, directing traffic, and bringng our luggages to our hotel rooms first while we were eating dinner so we wouldnt have to bother with all the bulky stuffs. All not within their job requirements. so touched (': haha

IBSM DAY 1 : CAMBODIA!

In cambodia now! and things didnt turn out as terrible as I expected. haha. even though there was no wifi at the airport. it was a damn retarded scene when you see everyone raising their iphones in the air hoping to get connection. And we were probably put to shame when our tour guide was telling us how lucky we were to be able to travel at such a young age. how they couldnt even afford $2 ice creams and here we are with our iphones.

Anyway, had dinner at a really nice restaurant and then off to our hotel! and the wifi is damn fast also! besides the fact that it sometimes gets disconnected lah. and there's also kbsworld! see, when you dont expect anything, you'll be satisfied with every little thing. Went for a walk around our hotel just now, and its filled with all kinds of clubs lah. but they look more like brothels to me. and they dont have 7-11. can you believe it? Had to make to with some small mart. So just bought beer back to the hotel and ate maggi! gonna gain back all the weight sia. zzzz.

Flying off to cambodia/vietnam tmr!! I love going overseas cause sg gives me alot of stress. dont ask me why. haha.I just love the feeling of being overseas, even if its just msia, cause I feel so much more relaxed.

Anyway, went to the f1 over the weekend! Dad managed to get some tics at the last minute!! and imagine how happy I was when it was zone 4, the exact zone where GTOP and seungri were gonna be performing at! hahaha. Brought my sis along cause she really wanted to go. I TOLD HER SHE WONT BE ABLE TO TAKE IT SIA. and duh, all she did was complain and stone throughout the performance. fucking spoiled my mood can.

But anyway, managed to stand quite front, and had a pretty good view! should have brought my dad's dslr and not the digi cam -.-

Anyway, back to harry potter. I've always loved hp, and more so ever since I learned so many hidden stuffs on tumblr. and Ive been wanting to watch this movie for like forever. and as expected, it disappointed. tskk. I know theres only so much it can squeeze into a movie and it cant be draggy or hard to understand for non-hp readers, but I was so unsatisfied!!

Firstly cause I felt that Snape's character wasnt brought out as much. He's like my fav character cause jk rowling wrote his character so beautifully, and the movie didnt really manage to bring out all the wonderfulness in him. lol. It was sad, but I dont think it was enough to bring justice to his character? and the other reason I was kinda not satisfied, was that the love and bond between the trio was also not prominent enough!! Unlike in the book, where you can really feel the bond and fierceness between them, it wasnt even evident in the movie. Its surprising how dull the movie can be in comparison to the book when its in motion.

you know, I think everyone has family problems. Be it small or big, cause after all, nothing's perfect. It could be the loss of a parent, a broken family, monetary issues, illness stricken member, mental parent or whatever. At the end of the day, a family is still a family. The blood ties dont just leave. and after everything, it will only make the family much stronger than it was. cause its only when we lose, will we then appreciate. And when misfortune strikes, its when every member in the family has to support one another, no matter how old or young you are. cause everyone's still human. it doesnt mean that if you're younger, you get affect more, or if you're older you will be able to take anything. Everyone's still human, everyone has feelings, no matter what age, gender, race, religion, education, skin colour or whatever there is. Never think that you're in a worser situation than others, because God's fair. you gain some, you lose some. Nothing's perfect.

Fucking pissed off right now,I could slaughter people. I don't get how people could live with absolutely no sense of responsibility. I understand that everyone has sluggish days, where we just dont want to do anything.but throughout the year? and certain things we can't just simply put off simply due to laziness isn't it. Some people need to learn not to be so self centered. Every action that we do will always affect someone else out there.You could afford to put eveuthing to the last minute, but what about others?you can't just do or plan whatever you want and expect people to be able to fit into that plan.everyone's busy with their own stuffs but when it comes to our commitments,we have to learn to prioritize don't we.

I feel bad about ranting on friends.but it's been happening so often I could burst from all the frustration.

I realise I've never talked about my faith before. and whenever I say Im a christian somehow people dont seem to believe me. lolol. But I am a christian, no matter how useless and inadequate I am, Im still a christian.

I was born a pure buddhist. Going to temples, praying with joss sticks, burning paper, drinking burnt paper, bathing with flowers and whatever else. But somehow, the religion never sank into me. perhaps it was because it says that girls are dirty. That always kinda irked me. No girl, no buddha can. I rmbed when I was in some thai temple when I was in bangkok and I was standing at the steps, and the monk didnt want to go down cause he was afraid he would touch until me. I was honestly quite pissed then.

But anyway, this whole post is on my own opinion only. so please please please dont get offended if you're a buddhist.
I still respect the religion even if I dont believe in it k, cause my whole family's still buddhist.
Im just annoyed with the dirty girls thing.

Anyway.
So I first got to know God when I was in pri1? cause I went to this christian student care, and they have bible reading everyday. and I rmb I enjoyed that alot, cause the teacher had a nice voice. haha. and being in a christian student care, I guess it taught me alot of things? Like I had to be more mindful of my actions and words. I rmbed I once point the middle finger and everyone got so agitated. LOL. I started praying before meals, singing holy songs, going to church every christmas to perform, and even though I never had the chance to go to sunday school, the student care had saturday classes which was basically similar. and that was also when I started praying every night.

I left when I was around p4? and that was basically the end of any interactions(?) with God. I still tried to pray now and then. But thats about it. It was not till when I was in sec2 when my sis enrolled into a church kindergarden when I was forced to wake up every sunday for sermons. ya, forced. haha. Its not easy to enter straight into a youth group. cause the thing about churches is, everyone practically grew up together. But I guess I was lucky cause I happen to met this guy whose gf (now wife) was a leader of a small group and so I could just join in without all the awkwardness.

and for a period of time, I was pretty holy. I went every sunday morning, tried to lead during prayers, and I forced myself to stop using vulgarities. I even took notes during sermon lah. I think I deserve some applause. haha.

I couldnt rmb when and how I stopped praying though. Like completely stop. I think it was during some sermon about the world ending and stuffs, and it was soooooo scary lah. and I kept wondering how if God loves us so much, how could he even bear all these? and no one could answer. and I rmb how I was amazed at how all the others could just accept this whole faith so widely even with so many questions. and I guess that was when I stopped believing.

I went to poly. and up till now, I cant answer why I even went to np. cause at that time, everyone was going to jc, and with my character, I probably would have followed. But I knew jc was just so not me. and tbh, I regretted alot when I first started school. It was like a fucking roller coaster. I could be enjoying some moment, but at the brink of tears the next. It was so bad, I could cry in the bus otw home. and I prayed again. God answered, and he blessed me Linda. Ok, I never talked about this before, but anyway. Through Linda, I sort of got to know tuling, and through her simin and then yy. and without this 3 people, I honestly wouldnt have survived poly.

But something happened, and I blamed God. I let myself believe that everything was a coincidence, and walked away again. I did went to another church sometime though. and they always had this praying for others thing. and this lady just came and say she want to pray for me. I didnt even know her. and out of like thousands of people(its the big big church) she picked me. and when she prayed she spoke words that just described my feelings so well, I actually cried. really really cried.

But I realised how embarrassing it was, and never went back. haha.

and then my illness came, and it was confirmed I had to go for operation. I knew it was a minor surgery, but I was still so scared. and for nights I just kept crying and crying. and it didnt help that at that time, school wasnt going so well and there were some misfortunes that kept happening and my parents had to keep spending money. So I prayed. I cried and apologised and kept praying and praying. I think it was the longest prayer I ever did. haha. and since then, there hasnt been a night that I have not prayed (:

and I think thats a record. haha.

Things got better after that. I had alot of projs going on then, and I wasnt even close to alot of the groups, but everyone was so nice. Like really really nice. I dont know if they got mark me down not lah, but they offered to do my part after they heard I had to go for surgery. so sweet right! not even close leh. and even afterI was discharged, they still insist on helping me do my parts and let me rest cause I just discharged. We never even met up before(cause I was missing alot of lessons) and they were still so willing to help me. So touched (':

and the one thing that I was so afraid of about the surgery didnt happen. I didnt lose my voice! haha.
I have to keep that, or cha will have nothing to imitate anymore. hahaha.

and thats about it. haha. I think after everything that happened, Im beginning to rely on God more. I dont know if thats good or bad. haha. and even though I still dont get why God still bears to see his children get hurt when He loves us so much, I guess I sort of understand how others could still embrace this faith even with all the unanswered questions.

Oh, and I also rmbed how when I was in pri sch, this girl once told me that God told her I was meant to be a christian. That was after I left the student care. I guess that came true after all.

and I just wanna say that, to be a christian, it doesnt really matter how perfect you are, or how despicable you are or whatever. cause God loves us all. I once read somewhere that said something like its not about being so perfect to make God happy, but its more like when a continuous downright sinner did something right.. and that is what would make God really happy. I think its like the story where the old man had this super unfillial son who left and came back and the father so happy, but the brother jealous and went to kill him.

Ok, I know thats kinda weird to understand, but hopefully the meaning of it gets across. haha.

Sometimes I wish I had a perfect family. I know people will go how Im damn lucky alr, and Im like shen zhong zhifu bu zhifu whatever, but omg, sometimes living can be so tiring. sometimes when Im home, i feel like im being burdened by the weight of the entire family. How Ive to cater to everyone's needs. I hate that I was such a good girl like ever since I was born. Im always putting others first. My mum's got depression and blows up every small matter. Because of this Im always giving in here and there just so nothing happens. I help out with housework even when Im tired. I never go out on mondays cause thats her busy day. I cancel plans when I know she's down. I follow them to msia every saturday waking up at ungodly hours just so she wont be alone. I take care of my siblings cause I know she cant take the noise. I never ask for things unless Ive got no money and I really really want it cause I know how they are with money. and even though I feel so fucked up and depressed sometimes I keep them to myself cause I dont wanna bring this family more problems than it already has.

But sometimes there's only so much that I can take, and it hurts that when Im the one breaking down, no one's there. Im always there when they need someone. when my mum cries, I talk to her. when my sis cries, I talk to her. When my bro's upset, Im the one who talks to him. But yet when Im down, there's always no one. Im surprised myself, how easily i cry, that sometimes I just stop and ask myself why the fuck am I even crying. Is it even worth it. When my mum cries, I rushed all the way home. cause she's been crying the whole morning. God fuck it, Ive been crying for God knows how long. Do you know? Have you cared?

Everyone needs someone. Someone to lean on, someone to back them up, someone to give them a hug, someone to yell to, someone to tell them they've done well, someone who'll love them no matter what. But Ive never receive any of that.

You disappoint me so much sometimes, as the one whom I respect and care for the most.

I know I show alot of attitude, but rmb what you said? I wasnt like that when I was younger. But as far as I could rmb, Ive been so tired. I guess it just came to a point where I couldnt take it anymore.

I know I should learn to be grateful, for my life has seriously been going pretty well recently. and Ive got so much to thank God for. But when things like that happen, it feels like Im being broken again. Its like being slapped in the face by reality that says 'hey, you're not supposed to be enjoying this much.' and it feels like Ive been living in a facade. I was never truly happy, and I never truly belonged anywhere. Its like a spirit, smiling from a distance, never truly there. That everything was just superficial. cause at the end of the day, nothing will unlock all that hurt, struggles, scars, fears and tears that have been accumulating. and I realise that Im pretty much alone.

Sometimes I wish I was more hard hearted. I'll make everyone lose me. and perhaps then, I'll be more appreciated.

went to yy's hse after that for "project." end up we just nua and sang along to mvs. lol. wanted to sleepover but parents dont let.

Yay! Its elearning next week :D

and hopefully, its not gonna be as busy as the past few elearning weeks. so far, it seems pretty good. haha. just need to visit so many places for research and auditing stuffs. zzz.

Been meeting cha and anna so often that Im going broker and broker ):I really need to start finding a part time job. but anyway, I think its been a pretty long time since we went out like that? Like maybe before poly..haha. Thurs went shopping at far east, and there was this really nice pair of shoes for only 9.90 but it came only in size 36. Like wtf. who can wear sia. Spent lots of unnecessary money, bought this super pink wallet and lots of stuffs at etude. all cha's fault lah, keep making me spend just for the member card. and in the end she keep. TSK.

and on friday, me and anna went back PRCS!! haha. cause we were craving for wanton and hokkien mee. lol. we went to fake the guards that we needed to find teachers for testimonials and happily went to the canteen to only meet mr singh and shafie. haha, and they couldnt rmb anna. lolol.then they started nagging, say cannot wear hot pants and slippers and have to go back and change. wtf. but at least they let us dabao food out. lol. then when we left the guards were like "you all meet teacher already?" lol. tsk. next time cannot go back le lah. arghs.

Waited for jeslyn to have a break and caught up for awhile. and MR LEUNG IS FINALLY A FATHER. LOL. Like finally. haha. just 5 years ago, he was still trying. haha. Was late for class, so ponned and went to munch and play monopoly deal with tuling and sh. then home, and mahjong with cha and anna~ won $1.60. super lucky that night.

and we went to play badminton the next day! haha. and anna so noob. lol. she partner my bro, then like bai sui over there. damn cute lah. lol. and I think we picked up shuttlecocks more than hitting them. haha. went home to bath before going to collect anna's mac, and went to lucky plaza for dinner. fucking spicy sia the chilli. suppose to go kallang for dont know what terribly spicy chicken but didnt in the end cause anna and I were having stomachaches. lol. Went down to ws and played monopoly deal and eat sushi before going back to my house for mj again. haha. and my luck was pretty good that day too. haha. my hands are starting to itch again. Went to school with cha ytd, and reached super early, and had mr bean's for breakfast! Anyway, there really is no point in reaching school early, cause one of us will always be late. and ytd was simin's turn. call like mad and no one answered, so waited in school forlike 2hrs, missing sqm lect. so went for lunch (@10.30. lol.) and started contemplating to pon the 12pm class. haha.

slacked at cc for awhile and decided to go take mc and meet some of tuling's friends at orchard in the end. and I tell you, I fucking hate clementi polyclinic. fucked up one sia. make me wait so long, and when my turn the stupid nurse say I got no ic she have to make me pay foreigner price which is like fucking double of singaporeans' one lah. wtf. do I look like a foreigner to you?! so in the end, I cnt take mc and have two absences in my report alr ): first term's not even ended yet, what am I gonna do D:

Played aroung with yy for awhile while waiting for tuling's turn, then off we go to orchard~!

Met yenteng, angela, and sayhong and walked around before heading to sarang to eat :D

Im so glad my mum's bday falls so close to mother's day. buy one present enough!

Woke up at like 9am in the morning to go shop for ingredients. super sleepy after watching the elections. disappointing results.

I still feel so upset over george yeo's loss. and the whole pap thing. I know I should get over it. but it pisses me off so much lah.
and I dont know why either. I never use to bother with political stuffs, but seeing how singaporeans are going anti-pap really pisses me off. Like wtf, wake up can. without pap, there probably wont even be you. and I bet half of those anti paps probably studied in pap when they were in kindergarden. traitors-.- without pap, they'll probably be still running around barefooted in mud shouting hokkien and chasing chickens and staring at fishes fight to pass time. whenever we go overseas, we feel respected or superior to our fellow asians, because we can speak english, because we're singaporeans. and who do we have to thank? Lee Kuan Yew. All those people know is to scold him, say he senile, arrogant whatever. but without his arrogance and confidence, would singapore even be the independent country we are today? I rmbed once when I was working in kino and there was this angmoh couple that came to buy lky's book and they were talking about how great he was, turning singapore from a third world country to a first. and at that moment, I felt such a great sense of pride to be a singaporean. and I went to buy his book after that.(haha) Is concentrating on improving our country wrong? when our country improves, wont the people benefit too? establishing good relations with other countries, improving our infrastructure, increasing gst.. all these would inevitably benefit us too wont they? increase gst just to increase ministers' pays meh. its also for funding what. Like japan, when faced with disasters, they dont even need our money, and can tide over without having to rely on other countries. seriously, when have you even seen such massive disasters happening in a country, and the people still remain so calm? no wailing at cameras, no incorrigible living conditions, no drama. and that is what we hope singapore to be. Singaporeans are just so blessed that they take everything for granted. They think they are neglected by their government, they want more attention, they want to feel important and that pap is getting too arrogant blah blah blah. tell me then, when tsunamis and earthquakes strike us and we've got to lie around and wait for other countries to send money so that our govt can help us, will having free healthcare matter? cheaper hdb, letting you take your cpf, giving you more compassion, listening to you more, lowering gst..will all these still matter then?

Im not saying pap is all good. but do you honestly think the opposition's gonna be any better? voting against pap out of spite, showing that you can be more powerful than pap just because you can vote. Thats just plain childish and low.

adults say we kids dont know anything which is why we vote for pap. I think its the opposite.
mm Lee has been serving us for years. you think he dont want retire? he's so old and weak already. and his wife just died, which probably makes him want to leave along with her too. summer breeze with anna and cha over the leftovers of my hols, and met up with 1/5? of the 2/4 people. If only getting all of us together and performing together is possible. its gonna be so awesome sia.

Anyway, school has started and Im finally in 3rd year!! which technically means we're pretty much the oldest in the school. heheh(:

But I seriously get damn pissed when I go to atrium and get approached by tons of fliers. Hello~! Im 3rd year student! tsk. I think my height is seriously a super disadvantage. Like sometimes, I feel that if I looked much older, my dad would probably stop treating me like a kid.

School's pretty good this sem. I've got thurdays off!! Too bad cha's on tues :(

so I guess life's gonna be pretty good for now.

WHEN JEALOUSLY STRIKES

The other day while in the car, my sis was saying how she didnt like this other girl in her class, who apparently isnt all that good but got praised by the teacher which super reminded me of an incident back in secondary school. and my mum told me something which seriously striked me as to what kind of people i actually hung out with.

Ever since young, I wasnt the kind to get jealous about people. I just simply do what I like. As long I have what I wanted, Im fine with it. I hardly compare unless the situation could be put into my favour, or I wouldnt even bother. Like seriously, whats the point. At the end of the day, you're only answerable to yourself. so what if you win a certain person? is she gonna be the benchmark of your life?

Even when I was younger up till now, Ive never even gotten jealous of my siblings before. Even when they receive more things than me, I dont even mind. I think Im a pretty reasonable person.haha. unless I want like a $20 thing and my parents dont want buy for me and go buy a $100 club for my brother, then thats a different case. Other than that, I wont even mind,and will even help choose the club.

When I started schooling, I dont compare my results with others cause I know the amount of effort I have put in and Im satisfied with that. Even if Im not satisfied, I know its only because of myself. and not others. so what for compare, does it even make a difference. My O'level results wasnt all that spectacular, and I probably lost to almost all of my friends. But still, I was satisfied. Even when people whom I think couldnt have won me actually did win me, it didnt even bother me, cause I was satisfied. I knew that was my best and I was satisfied. who cares what others got.

When I knew I could make it into a jc, I opt for a poly. I knew jc was the better choice if I wanted to have face and be superior when being compared to others, but like I said, I never bothered, and I went to poly. and that was seriously the first time I felt so worked up. I hate it when people do comparisons, because humans are all superficial and materialistic. I seriously hate it when people think that poly people are inferior to jc people, they dont know how wrong they are. and it especially sucks more when even your friends think that way. Grades isnt all that matters. Yes, I agree that the paper does play a part in our future, but at the end of the day, it still boils down to our characters and attitudes.

Few days back, my dad was facing some difficulties at work and he told me this," that when a person's life has been so smooth going and he is suddenly struck with problems, it is then that he would think about what he really wants and what he should actually be doing." (ok, he didnt say it exactly like that, but the meaning's the same.) and I realised, that was exactly what happened to me. I rmbed entering into poly and being faced with obstacles over obstacles that I could cry almost every night. even thinking back now makes me cry sometimes. (ya, Im weak like that.) But the whole point is that my entire perspective of life changed. Instead of always aiming for that luxurious future, I learned that happiness and simplicity is enough. Instead of working like hell to fly first class, i wouldnt mind chionging part time jobs and go backpacking. call me useless and pathetic, but I think those who are pathetic are those 2 faced, competitive people out there constantly chasing after papers and competing with one another throughout their whole life to outdo everyone else.

Sometimes i just wanna shout into your face to grow up, and that life isnt all as you see it to be. Just because a person has different dreams, different attitudes, different physique, it does not make them any less superior than you are. In fact, they could even be better than you. I would rather make friends with 10 ite people, than 1 jc person, to be honest. Because they totally get the fact that being happy is already more than one can ask for.

Seriously, if everyone can just slow down, and learn that the people around them are not competitors, but friends, life would be so much simpler and happier.

Pardon the lengthy post, I just got really upset when I heard how friends could turn out to be the bitches of your life.
and how they could even deny everything in your face. wow.

but my pay's gonna be so little sia. my dad suddenly said that there'll be cpf D:

anyway, I feel so paranoid lately ever since the japan earthquake. and the myanmar one, and talks that its gonna hit thailand. when's it gonna be singapore's? My office's beside the factory so there'll always be a slight tremble when they roll around the goods, and it never used to bother me. but nowadays, it kinda freak me out a little.

every night, I pray. I pray that all these would stop. but I know it wouldnt. For one, singapore wouldnt be that lucky. staying safe forever. its gonna be our turn soon. I dont wanna sound foul, but seriously, singaporeans are no angels to expect nothing to ever hit them. All I ask for is that when it really hits us one day, I just wanna be with my family. I just hope that all of us would be together. and thats enough.

I hope that 1 or 2 years from now, I'll still be able to read back to this post and laugh at what a pessimistic fool I was.

and yesterday is thursday and tmr is saturday..
lol. the song was really crap sia. I thought everyone was just bashing her like how they did with justin bieber. but she's really crap sia. lol.

So anyway, results were out this morning. it was as expected but still kinda depressing. Oh well. it wasnt that bad.
But smsing our results to us early in the morning is really a damn bad way to start the day lah. plus, I received it the moment I sat down for work. and I just lied there for I think 5 minutes. depressing day.

Had lunch with the uncles today, and for some reason they started talking about the elections and politics which go all the way back to like 1988. I wasnt even born lah. wtf. and I just stoned there and kept smiling when they ask me about workers party and pap and whatever. and there was this doctor which apparently caused pap to lose the elections or something back then cause she went to wash her hands after shaking hands with the hawkers each time, which pissed them off real bad. and goh chok tong scolded her and she was like "Im a doctor, I need to keep clean." and just like that her $25k salary was gone.

I forgot today was friday and I left all my sweets on my desk. zz.
My colleague gives me sweets everyday cause I feel like dozing off every 10 mins. and I'll just start stoning infront of the pc. I think Im getting more and more slack lor. I keep going to the toilet and sit there for 15 mins each time. haha. But no one says anything one lor. This is how funny this department is. even if late just come in and sit, no one will say anything one sia.
